Polyester Reinforced Silicone Hose is manufactured by platinum vulcanization process, which consists of inner silicone, four layers of polyester fabric reinforcement and outer silicone composite. Standard inner diameter 16-152mm, working temperature -60 ℃ to 200 ℃, both flexibility and pressure resistance (0.5-1.2MPa). The 4-Layer Polyester Reinforced Silicone Hose, with its excellent performance, is ideal for fluid transportation in food, pharmaceutical and other industries.

The standard color of the four-layer fabric-laminated silicone hose is white, and other colors can be customized according to customers' needs. The inner wall is designed to be smooth and flat to minimize fluid residue, and the outer surface is anti-adhesive for easy cleaning and maintenance. Typical specifications range from 16-152mm ID, standard lengths are usually 4 meters or 6 meters, and operating temperatures cover a wide range from -60°C to +200°C.

Tips for selection and use

 

 

Correct selection and use can give full play to its performance advantages, to ensure long-term stable operation of the system.

Pressure matching: Select according to the working pressure of the system, keeping at least 30% safety margin.

Media compatibility: confirm the chemical compatibility of the conveyed media with the silicone material, especially strong acids, bases or organic solvents.

Certification requirements: food, pharmaceutical applications must choose the appropriate certification of the product, and retain the certification documents.

Installation Note: Avoid sharp bends (keep ≥ 3 times the pipe diameter bending radius), use special pipe clamps to prevent twisting.

FAQ

 

Q: Can the four-layer fabric-clad silicone hose be used in negative pressure environment?

A: The standard model is not recommended to be used in high negative pressure, but the special model with steel wire reinforcement can withstand negative pressure of -0.9Bar. You need to confirm the specific product parameters when using.

Q: How to identify the real food grade/medical grade products?

A: Genuine products should have clear FDA, USP and other certification marks, and provide traceable material certificates and certificates of compliance. Platinum vulcanization process and clean room production environment are also key indicators.

Q: Is it normal for the tube body to show slight expansion?

A: Significant expansion should not occur within the allowable working pressure range. If this phenomenon is found, the pressure may be exceeded or product quality problems, it is recommended to stop using and check.

Q: Can it be used for steam transportation?

A: Not recommended. Although it is resistant to high temperature, long-term exposure to saturated steam will accelerate aging. Special steam hose should be used for steam transportation (the temperature resistance is usually more than 170℃).

Q: How to store properly?

A: It should be stored in a cool and dry place away from light and heat sources and sharp objects. For long-term storage, it is recommended to keep the natural bending state, avoid folding and pressure.

Q: What are the cleaning and disinfecting methods?

A: CIP (chemical cleaning) and SIP (steam sterilization) are supported, and hot water (≤90℃) or special cleaning agents can also be used. Avoid using strong oxidizing cleaners.
