Product Advantages

Convoluted structure

Provides exceptional flexibility and resistance to bending fatigue, suitable for complex piping layouts

Enables efficient self-draining and quick cleaning, reducing residual medium

PTFE material properties

Chemical inertness: Resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, and other corrosive media
High purity: Meets cleanliness requirements for the semiconductor/pharmaceutical industry (no leaching, no contamination)
Wide temperature range: Stable operation in extreme environments from -200°C to +260°C

Mechanical connection design

The spiral structure directly engages with threaded connectors, achieving a weld-free sealed connection

Reduces installation complexity and avoids the risk of material deformation caused by thermal processing

Applications

Industrial fluid transfer

Resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, and high temperatures (up to 260°C), making it an ideal choice for transporting corrosive and high-purity chemicals in industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and electroplating, including acids, alkalis, solvents, and etching solutions.

Laboratory and Analytical Instruments

High chemical inertness ensures no contamination of samples, commonly used for high-purity reagent transportation, trace analysis system connections, and chromatograph tubing, ensuring the accuracy of analytical results.

Semiconductor and Electronics

Used for transporting ultra-pure chemicals (such as photoresist, etching solutions, and CMP slurry) in ultra-clean environments, its cleanliness, low outgassing, and corrosion resistance meet the stringent requirements of semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Medical and Life Sciences

Excellent biocompatibility makes it suitable for medical devices (such as respiratory equipment tubing) and tubing systems in biological laboratories that come into contact with culture media and buffers.

FAQ

Q: 1. Does the threaded structure affect the temperature resistance of PTFE tubing?

A: No. The threaded structure does not alter the PTFE material itself, and the temperature resistance range remains -200°C to +260°C.

Q: 2. How is the threaded PTFE tube sealed with the fitting?

A: Standard scenario: Wrap 2–3 layers of PTFE tape (clockwise wrapping), and control the torque to 8–15 N·m when tightening.
High-pressure or high-purity scenario: Use PFA thread sealant or metal-coated PTFE gaskets to prevent PTFE tape debris from contaminating the medium.

Q: 3. How to repair damaged threads during installation?

A: If there is minor wear, sand with fine sandpaper and continue using; if the threads are cracked or severely deformed, remove the damaged section and re-machine the threads (requires a specialized thread rolling machine), or replace the tube entirely.

Q: 4. How to quickly stop leakage at threaded connections?

A: Immediately close the upstream and downstream valves and relieve pressure to 0 MPa;
For minor leaks, wrap emergency sealing tape (such as aluminum foil PTFE composite tape) around the outer side of the threads;
For severe leaks, replace the entire section of pipe

Q: 5. How to identify high-quality PTFE threaded pipes?

A: Inner wall smoothness: no crystalline points or cracks.
Thread uniformity: consistent spiral gaps, no local deformation.
Certification reports: chemical resistance testing (ASTM D543), burst pressure value (≥10 times working pressure).
